Of all the luck, lost. Of course I was. In all my insane 19 years
I hadn't found anyone with luck like mine. This morning I had innocently been taking a stroll on the path through the woods
behind my house, only straying a little when I was watching a deer. Now I had no idea which way the path, my house, or anything
was. "Well I'm sure if I head in the same direction for long enough I will find something." I said talking aloud as if it
would somehow help my sanity.... ya right.
After an hour or so of heading into more densly populated trees I started to think my idea
hadn't been so great. Only then did I hear the noise that would change everything...
As I turned to face the noise, what I thought would be my death. I braced myself for the worst
as the most beautiful creature I'd ever seen emerged through the trees. A horse that was a brilliant blue with a purple mane
and tail and exquisit star and swirl design and bright white wings.
It gave me a look that was almost as puzzled as my own. My breath caught in my throat as it
took a step forward looking as hesitant as I felt. "Hi" it said. "My name is Starlight." She smiled and took another step.
I Met her and held my hand out to stroke her neck. "Mines Ivy, I'm lost. Can you help me?" She giggled. "I'm fairly new to
these parts but I think I can get you out." We talked as we walked, about simple things and I found myself relaxing as we
went and before I knew it we were at the path at the edge of the woods, right out back of my house. I turned to tell her thank
you but by the time I turned all I saw was a streak of blue. I hoped that we would meet again one day.
